Maquettes

 3D modelling session!

 Working in 3D really isn't my strong point, but I gave it a go.

I used various materials to re-create my life drawing sketches in 3D form. I find wire is a very elegant material to use, and can form some intriguing abstract shapes (when used well, of course!).

These two photographs (left and below) show wire models done in the life drawing session. This proved to be an extra challenge since I was restricted in time as well as being limited to only using wire. The two 2D wire figures were done in 10 minutes each, and the larger more odd-looking 3D figure was done in 20 minutes.
