That's a Teapot?

The brief for today was to subvert an object (in my case, a teapot) by taking it's functional form and transforming it into a whole new piece in it's own right.

I based my idea on playing with the function of a teapot - if it's a sturdy object made of hard material, how will it function when made out of a floppy, soft material? And hence I began my tricky journey of putting together a fabric teapot...

Six hours of work later and I'm still not finished. Why I chose to make a textiles-based product when I have no intention of pursuing the textiles pathway in art I have no idea, but I am now determined to complete it over the weekend.
