Assessment 2 - Pathway Stage

I had my assessment for the past three week project, and I passed all of the units (which is good!) so all I need to do is polish up the last of my contextuals for Monday, and take note of what I need to improve on in the next project.

Strengths:

• drawing skills - vibrant and varied
• good use of media throughout, including approach to digital work
• excellent presentation of work
• good eye for composition and layout with sensitivity to colour

Areas to improve on:

• loosen up a little and developing more experimental markmaking
• expand on amount of artwork - work on shorter pieces, without necessarily thinking of an outcome - mistakes are good!
• contextual studies book to be completed

So more good feedback - I do feel that I produced a rather small quantity of work for this project, probably because I spent too much time thinking about the final result than actually getting on and doing.. but I'll bear/bare (SOMEONE HELP ME I DON'T KNOW WHICH ONE IT IS) that in mind for the weeks to come - expect a lot more sketching!
